Flash Friday 55: Anger's Face

I wonder what she'd think,
if she bothered to look
her face contorted,
in anger
I'm behind her at the light
and can see her
pointing
screaming
while still smoking
I can't see her victim
crouched next to her
I'm sure
it's her child
who else would you
treat that way
just because you can.

It's Flash Friday 55.  Write a poem or story in exactly 55 words, then place your link in g-man's comments.

Though I didn't like what you wrote about, I'm sure it's true somewhere, and you did it well.

I am sad...because what you write is such real reality. GREAT '55' to keep some of us thinking, remembering, praying.
PEACE!

That is right. You can only get those over whom you have the power to!

oh, ouch! that poor child... do you think she knows what she's doing? or is only reacting to some imagined uprising or something - I hurt for both of them.

a deeply thought-provoking 55, thank you!

Your poem painted a powerful picture in my mind. So sad that this really happens every day to children.

Oh my gosh! Leaves me wanting to sock her in the mouth!!!! I've seen this woman in the mall, at the bank, in the grocery store, at the playground......and hated her.

I adore this. I want to run over her. And not in a good way.

Grrrr @ people who bully other people; whether it's women like this bullying their kids or adults bullying those over whom they have power! Beautifully written poem!
