Two Hearts

Friendship is
when hearts
connect

We've known each other
years, been
each other's pantry
emergency assistance
childcare traders

We've chatted away
an hour...or more
until kids interrupted
just because
we got our mail
at the same time

But now, when
you handed me
the hurts of your heart
to share the burden
we are friends.

It's Flash Friday 55 again.  Go tell g-man, and put your link in his comments (one of these days he's going to give in and use Mr. Linky...) if you want to play!

smiles. friends are a beautiful thing...esp when you can turn to each other in times of need which makes those that are not all the sweeter....nice 55.

That kind of friendship is priceless. I love this: "We've known each other years, been
each other's pantry / emergency assistance / childcare traders."

And being each other's support in times of need is the best part of all.

This was very sweet, and I think we can all relate to that special kind of friendship.

How I wish I had that kind of support system. All I've got are distant friends.

Very lovely Tina - friendship really does take time and true friendship is that sharing of hurts and hearts.

You excel at this 55 thing. The piece was something many of us identify with....and the end made me sad because I always think: death, destruction and divorce.
