Medical Leave of Absence

I'm taking a quick blogging break until Wednesday. I'm spending today and tomorrow having tests done at a hospital an hour away from home. We hope to finally get to the bottom of my health issues. Tomorrow's procedure is particularly uncomfortable and I'm a bit freaked out about it. Prayers appreciated.
Thanks to all of you for your support during these three long years of medical hassles. I really appreciate you!

I'm just getting caught up after problems with my thyroid that evened out with a switch back from a generic med to the name brand (generic dissolved too quickly) and had to scroll back to get caught up with your posts. You are most definitely in my prayers that these tests work out okay. It's a queasy feeling, waiting, so I'm also sending you lots of positive thoughts. But, above all, continue to have faith.

Tina, I hope all the news is good, and that they can get you feeling better! So difficult to be unwell and not know why.

Safe travels, too!

Hi Tina,
Sad to note about the present situation. Do not worry, God's presence is with us.Today while I was going thru an article this post notification came to me, let me quote few words from it:
"Into the most tragic of situations God's constant presence lifts people from despair, gives them a reason to hope and most important offers them a way to live--in Him. In our moments of loneliness fear and despair God offers hope- hope of his presence in our lives, hope that He is a "God at hand," (Jeremiah 23:23)the God who fills the heaven and earth.(Jer. 23:24)
So take heart, His very presence is with us all. Our prayers. Phil & Ann,Hyderabad, India.

My thoughts are with you as you tackle this. I know that you are scared, but knowledge is power and once you are through the awfulness, you will be able to formulate a plan of attack to get yourself well. Your words to me have given me a lot of hope and I wish the same for you. Keep strong, Tina, you can get through this and if you need anything, just ask. Hugs!!

Good Luck. Hospital tests are not something most of us want to have done. I've had to take my daughter in for tests for her CVS, so I know how scary it can be.

Good luck, Tina, hope they can find what's causing the health problems.

Hope they find the cause, and that they have a cure!

Aw, wishing you well x

I hope that goes well.
What good are doctors, anyway, if they can't even tell you what's wrong?

I hope they find out too. Some of the stories I have heard lately, I begin to lose faith in doctors. Hubby thinks everything they say is gospel, I DO NOT.

Best of luck and look forward to hearing good news.

Positive thoughts from me too.

Over on my blog you said you were curious how I found you. I can't actually remember but the most likely thing is that I saw a comment from you on another blog which made me come looking for you ... in a non weirdly creepy stalkerish kind of way!

Oh Tina. Sending you prayers! Just keep breathing through that procedure. When you hold your breath it seems to make things worse.

Close your eyes and feel all the prayers and good wishes that surround you.

Good luck!

Hope that these tests help and you will soon be back to feeling good and fiesty. (I looked this up to make sure it was a good word -- touchy and quarrelsome, no! But second meaning: spirited, yes!)
