IWSG: Unexpected Resources

I just give up.  I've been trying to get a post up all night.  Three blue screens of death.  Blogger won't save anything.

What I want to say is that I had a great time world building with my son, and we each helped each other with our projects.  It was AWESOME bouncing ideas off of a young mind full of engineering and ideas and possibility.  I've gotten this far in this post before, but if I try to say anymore, my stupid machine blows up.

Tomorrow I might have more patience, but now it's all gone.  So let's just say, you might find inspiration closer than you think.

~Tina

It took a long time to load up too - it hung on a black screen with just the title. It loaded eventually, though. I hope blogger plays nice next time you try. Fingers crossed this comment saves!

Aww I can only imagine how awesome it was to bounce ideas off your son. :D

Sorry about Blogger. I hope it stops acting up for you soon. Hang in there!

Sorry Blogger is being a pain.

Glad you got to world-build with your son. How cool is that! :)

Tina, I love the idea of bouncing ideas with your son. Just goes to show wonderful ideas are everywhere, you just have to look for them. Hope your Blogger problems are resolved soon.

That's incredibly frustrating. I know your pain. I tend to write all of my posts out in my email first because my email provider of choice (I will not buzz market on your site so we'll keep corporate names out of this) because it tends to save automatically way better than Blogger. Then copy and paste it when ready. Not that you need my tips.

I hope you get it all sorted. I was having nonstop trouble w/ Blogger a few months ago but it's sorted itself out for the time being.

I love computers.
I hate computers.
Love 'em, hate 'em, but now I don't know that I could live without one.

Sorry about the computer crap you've been going through,
But I've keep dealing the this kind of stuff too.
Damn, I feel like I'm singing a song.
Too bad it's the same old song.

Hi Tina .. they certainly have their moments don't they! I hope it's getting sorted ..

But glad you had a great time with the creative ideas you both dreamt up .. sounds fun ..

I'm into Viking mode - so if you can tell me when there's a slot I'll draft something up for the A-Z postings .. and do something here ..

Cheers Hils

Sorry about the Blogger fail. Sometimes it just does that. Creativity defeated by technology. Yuck. Glad you had such a great experience with your son.

I hope your blogger troubles end soon!

Aw Tina, Sorry about the Blogger fail. At least you got to spend quality time getting ideas from your son. That must've been awesome! Hope everything sorts itself out soon. Have a great day. Hugs. Eva

Just think of all those Blogger re-types as draft revisions, lol :)
Sounds like you had a great time with your son, so nice to hear!

Inspiration, like charity (although a different story) starts at home. Glad to hear you got it via your son -- I love it when that happens -- and sorry about your computer problems. Darn machines.

Blogger hasn't been letting me see the new posts all the time either. Sometimes it says I'm not even following any blogs. I think they have some bugs to fix.

I agree about the inspiration. There is always some around if you're willing to be open to it.

Dear Tina,

I hate that when that happens. Pretty scary when you see the blue screen of death. I know when it's happened to me I had to basically pull the plug and start again.

World building for the better with your son. Maybe make a world where blogger actually cooperates.

Be well and inspiration is always there :)

It took Sir Poops and Hair Ball to post their post to Blogger all day.

I don't think Blogger is playing very nice tonight. That or it's that HUGE storm that is messing things up!

Youth is SO STIMULATING! I wish I was around some of these bright kids to feel their zest for life. Their excitement over the simple things, but sadly there are on no kids in my life. I find my inspiration through nature.

Hope blogger is kinder to you, Tina....

Blogger hasn't been good to me lately either-- but I've been too swamped with real, overwhelming life to bring myself to care-- hope you're doing ok, SIS.

I know exactly how it feels to spend hours on a post and then have it gone in a blink. It really makes me rage. Sorry blogger gave you a hard time but I'm happy to hear about your world building. Dragon Hugs!

Glitches are inconvenient, but the world-building sounds great.
