Q ~ Quiet! Slow Down and Relax #atozchallenge

All Aboard! "It's Very Swedish..." a train on a cultural journey through Sweden, exploring the differences big and small between American and Swedish culture.

***
My plan for today was to write about the quiet pace of life in Sweden, versus the go-go-go over-scheduled, Day-Timer (or iPhone reminder...) needing, each kid has two sports, an instrument, three practices, two games hectic pace of life we have more of here.

However, I've been fighting with myself most of the afternoon about whether I'm going to admit that I probably have the stomach bug that The Transporter has had for five, long days...let's just say for now that I have a killer headache, my stomach feels not so happy, and I probably have a fever.

So unless I start to feel better and update this later this evening, Q will be for Quiet Please, sick blogger.

~Tina, hoping it's just exhaustion, but kinda losing the ability to keep up that charade...

Hi Tina - I hope that for once you'll have done what the rest of us will do - and put yourself to bed and just completely switch off for a couple of days - to recover somewhat.

Sorry to hear and yes - Quiet please is what you need by the sound of it ..

Here's to a peaceful, quiet, sleeping weekend - Monday is R for Recovery mode! Happy Easter .. and thoughts - Hilary

Feel better, Tina!

There's nothing quite like bed to assist in the healing process. Other animals secret themselves away to allow healing to take place. So should we.

So sorry to hear this Tina, do what everyone says and go to bed and rest. Let everyone manage their own travels.

Get well soon.

Sorry about your illness. Hope you get better soon.

I've heard that Coca Cola helps against stomach problems (the phosphoric acid is the active agent). Same with the mix of apple juice and mineral water.

In the mean time I can tell you that Easter skiing in Sweden is great >:)

I'm so sorry you're feeling so bad. I too, have been dealing with something in my tummy. Luckily no fever. Quiet sounds very good today. It's raining outside, the house is empty after having four extra adults for a few weeks, and I'm feeling better about catching up on visiting other #atozchallenge2014 bloggers! Now, if I can only catch up with responding to those visiting my blog and commenting I'll be on a roll! Hope you feel better soon and happy Easter...

Sorry to hear you've caught the bug, Tina. I hate waving the white flag, too. Just back from a little "obligatory" road trip, so catching up on past posts. Hope you're over this setback quickly.

Dear Tina,

And I know that your quiet reflection and our positive interaction was a tonic for us both.

You have to look after yourself. That is the priority, dear lady.

In kindness and encouragement, your friend,

Gary
