IWSG: Paranoid Lunatic at the Keyboard...

For quite a few months I've been writing some encouraging posts, but not this week.  I'm the insecurest (yes, I made up that word, I get to because I'm a writer) I've been in a long time.

Those of you who follow me know that I'm on an indefinite break from blogging because I was in the hospital for pneumonia for 15 days.  It's a very, very slow recovery.  I post when I have some energy.  It's totally random when.

I'm afraid that all my readers will leave and won't notice when I'm back and that five years of building my blog audience will have to be rebooted. I'm probably too vain to be so excited about what I've done here...but the friends I've made are priceless, and I know they'll be with me, but I had so many new, really loyal readers...

Done whining now.  Thanks for listening.

~Tina, slowly recovering, and not really so good at slow...

Alex “Ninja Captain” Cavanaugh  is our leader for this wonderful, supportive group. Don't forget we even have our own website now.  Be sure to check it out if you haven't already, and "like" our facebook page, too. I'm so impressed with what these talented folks are doing to promote this group! Encouragement month long is now just a click away!

Tina, NO ONE is going to forget you!

Definitely don't feel bad about not posting, especially if you've been sick. I've had pneumonia before, but I didn't have to go to the hospital, so I can barely imagine what you've been through. I've taken blogging breaks before. It may take a few posts to get back the momentum, but your followers won't forget you. And you just got a new one :)

Just take your time and recover fully. You won't lose those who matter.

Nope. Not gonna happen. It may take a while after you get back to a more regular schedule to get your comment numbers back up, but it'll happen. Take care of yourself. We'll still be here when you get back. ;)

IWSG #184 until Alex culls the list again.

Well I'm not going anywhere. I visit every blog that comes up on my dashboard with a new post, no matter how long between said posts. Hang in there and GET WELL SOON!

That is one big insecurity, Tina. Seems it's big enough for all of us to share, right?

You've made an impression and a contribution to our community that won't be easily forgotten, so I hope reading this helps.

Take care. Be well.

Who sings that tune " Unforgettable"? It's either Johhny Mathis or Nat King Cole :-)

Want some company? Email me if yes and I'll bridle up the oxen to my covered wagon and rek to Longmont :-) Seriously!! Say the word. We'll rendezvous. Kiss kiss

It's something that I think we all share. The way I see it, is that I don't have "followers" on my blog. I have "readers" who eventually become "friends". (One new friend even said that she was a fan, but I corrected her for using the wrong F word.) Some friends last forever, others last a short time, but the important thing is the ones who stick around when things get tough.

I hope you are recovering more each day.
Take care.
Aloha.

Wait, what blog is this? Who are you? I'm not sure why I'm here...
But it sounds like you have a lot of time for reading!

You know we will all continue to support you Tina. You don't need to worry about us all. Just get well.

Tina, loyalty means those who care understand and will be waiting eagerly for your return. Take care.

Do take care of yourself. I've suffered fractures recently and hospitalizations--recovery is slow and you can't push it. I just discovered your blog from on twitter. I followed you there and will join your blog. No worries. We'll be here to read your posts once you've recovered. I too am in IWSG (posted for it yesterday) and am a survivor of the A to Z challenge where I've met so many great bloggers through those two blog hops. Be well and hang in there.

So which blogger are you again? The one with the cat?

No worries about anyone forgetting you, Tina. We're all still here, and I think we can raise a nice tasty Fat Tire to that one.

I feared the same thing when I was going through my health issues. I was lucky if I posted once a month. No one forgot me. At least not that I noticed anyway. =)

Feel better and take care of you. We will all be here when you're ready.

Tina, I am really sorry to hear about the sickness. Hope and pray that you will recover soon,

I really appreciate you for posting this note exactly on time, yes, the day which is to be here!
I am sure and Alex already said "None of your friends will forget you."

You are such a lovely one among the whole pearl. :-)

I can't forget the days in which we both work together as a team for A to Z pages.

I do pray for your full recovery from the present ailments.
Have a good and godly day.
Take Care My Dear Friend. :-)
Get well soon!
