Breakfast Club Comes to Mind...

I'm going on a little blogging break.  I'm in the hospital.  It's for my asthma and its many complications.  I don't know how long I'll be here, I don't know how much energy I'll have.

Some days I may post something, but instead of what used to be a M-W-F blog, then as you saw became a random blog, will now be an even more random blog.

I just don't know what's going to happen to me next.  I have to take it one day at a time. For Schedule Woman not be able to schedule? Torturous...

I, in my vanity and selfishness don't want to do this.  Stupid thoughts run through my head:

"You worked really hard to return almost all of the A-Z comments and got a lot of new readers and they're sticking around and you're going to lose them."

"If you're writing sporadically, only those who use feeders will know when you post."

Then reason and sanity sorta return and say to me, "It's a blog.  Or it's your health. Choose."  So at this time, I'm focusing on my health.

~Tina, who chose that opening song for obvious reasons...I'm a hopeless attention seeker and don't want you to go away...sigh.

P.S Email returns will be hopelessly late...but that you've probably gotten used to already ;-)

If there's anything I can do, even entertaining you with awkward and embarrassing stories, let me know. Email, tweet, call, text, I would say snail mail but I don't have any stamps. I hope you get better soon! Sending you love and hugs!

I'm so glad your "rational" brain kicked in and you chose your health over worrying about your blog. I understand those feelings about losing readers because of my blasted health. I can tell ya, they come back. The ones that do, are the best readers you have for support. Be well and take care of you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. xoxo

so sorry to hear that you are in the hospital. Asthma is nothing to fool around with and if you're in the hospital for it, it's serious! Definitely take good care of yourself: we'll all be here whenever you come back. Just concentrate on getting well! all the best to you

I doubt you'll lose your followers. But if you do, you can look at it as finding out who your true friends are. Not necessarily a bad thing. ;)

Get well soon.

Definitely health first Tina. Alex might threaten you with a dragon, but I can assure you his grandmother can be worse if you don't do as you're told. We will miss you but we won't forget you.

GET WELL TINA.

I remember the movie and the song by Simple Minds. But my favorite is still Glittering Prize. I hope you get better soon. Random blogging is fine. I dø the same >:)

Oh Tina, I'm so sorry that you are (were) in the hospital. Absolutely know that your health comes first and foremost and we are all here waiting for you.

I know how frustrating it is to want to be blogging, writing, and what have you only to have health issues get in the way.

My thoughts are with you and I will be checking on you periodically to see when you'll be back.

If you need anything, please email me at evasolar at ymail dot com. Hugs to you, Eva

Dear Tina,

I was sorry to read that you have had to spend time in hospital. What really is the priority is you and the rest will fall into place.

Never any need to listen to that inner chatter that doesn't tell the truth. People are aware of what you do. We are amazed by your resilience and determination.

You first. Blogging is here when you are strong enough to verbalise your ongoing valid thoughts.

Just remember that I who work discreetly in the background, are always here for you.

In peace and hope,

Gary

My wife has really bad asthma, so I know just how bad it can get. Hang in there, and no matter how long you take to get back, we'll still be here, because the ones who are worth your time, who are your true friends, will always be around. The rest don't matter.

Oh sweetie!

I'm sorry you're in the hospital!

I'm sending you lots of prayers of healing.

Don't beat yourself up on the writing. You've built a community. That takes a lot of work and a lot of heart.

You're allowed to rest now.

And to just take care of yourself.

Sending you hugs and prayers.

Hi Tina, It's the 23rd and I was just thinking about you, worried as usual. :(

I hope you're doing much better and just know that I've been checking your blog every few days. I'll be leaving a comment every week or two so you know that I'm still here waiting patiently for your return. :)

Many hugs to you and the fam. Eva

I was really hoping the minimal fire season this year would have eased things for you in this respect, but it looks like it hasn't. :( In the words of Kit (Pretty Woman), take carea' you. And I love that song.
