Family Fun Times with Swissie

I’ve had the pleasure of the company of lots of family around lately, and just had to share what Swissie and I did for grins and giggles.  Facebook quizzes.  We found a whole website full of them, and went with the theme of, “Which [insert name of TV show or movie] Character Are You?”

If you’re reading between the lines, then you can mostly tell which answer will lead to which character, but I honestly answered the questions to the best of my ability.

Here’s who I am on TV and in movies:

Leonard from Big Bang Theory
(thrilled with that, love Leonard)

Bones from the original Star Trek series
(I’ll take it, but dammit Jim, I’m a writer, not a doctor!)

Wesley Crusher from Star Trek The Next Generation
(may Sheldon forgive me, but as I recall, he and Wesley are currently on speaking terms…)

The Soup Nazi from Seinfeld
(this one crushed me – just because I was in the mood for soup at the time of the questioning doesn’t mean that I’m a control freak perfectionist who bosses people around…oh, never mind…just actually read that and realized it’s right…)

Yoda!!!!!   from (Well, if I have to tell you, then you truly frighten me)

This was what sealed the deal for me. Being Yoda totally makes up for any of the other disappointing results.

Besides my ongoing and fairly common crush on Han Solo, Yoda is the ultimate character of the franchise.  Nice to know that I’m 900 years old, too.  Makes these aches and pains a bit easier to take ;-)

I refused to find out which Disney princess I am.  I want to be that new ice princess from Frozen, the older sister, and I want Swissie to be the younger one, because from just the two YouTube videos she sent me, this movie seems to be about us.  I’m heading to a theater soon!

Do you take any silly quizzes?  Do you know which character you are (or would like to be) on a show?

P.S  I know you want to know.  Here's the Original Star Trek character quiz.  These are from the website www.zimbio.com.  They have lots more.  Please let me know what your results are if you take any of these so I recognize you next time I'm on the show, 'mkay?

I love to Yoda speak. Smart you are.
I think I have more in common with Darth Vader, and that scares me sometimes!

The only one of those kinds of quizzes I've ever taken is a Star Wars one. Or a few different Star Wars ones? I always end up as Obi-wan. That's okay with me.

Yoda, you are. lol

I took a bunch of those too. I got Bernadette from BBT, Bones, and Queen Amidala for the Star Wars one. I never even saw the 3 prequels. I don't think I took Seinfeld. I didn't do STNG cause I never watched it. Those quizzes give me a chuckle. I like taking them.

Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one doing all these quizzes. My favorite was The Walking Dead's quiz. Although it had me as the Governor, that wasn't too cool. I have to look for the Seinfeld one. I missed it.

@ Kate. In a word, YES. But your'e young, so you didn't grow up standing in line to see if for the 40th time at the theater. And you don't have kids who got into it and perpetuated the obsession. Never too late to watch, though. But you're totally forgiven because you're my minion and therefore you get an automatic pass!

Pooh, 900 years old, I am well into the thousands being the grandmother of Father Dragon who is, himself, 800 years old.

I have done these quizzes in the past, not lately though.

I just stopped by to say...

...loved your comment on Brother Beer Boy Bryan's blog today!

"That Leg Day"... it's so funny what expressions kids can come up with. (I know... I was a kid once.)

:-) I love to hate these quizzes. Yoda - YES!

I don't usually take those quizzes, because I'm pretty unlike any characters in any of those shows or movies: I'm too passive.

So, if the quiz was, 'what type of wallpaper are you?' then I might think of checking it out. Otherwise, I'll skip it.

Lol - well at least you're having fun! Keep getting better, Tina! I'm no doctor, but that's my wish for you!

Hey Tina,

Good, this is. You are a princess of love, hope and inspiration. Never mind Disney.

I'm evidently a "Tribble" from Star Trek :)

Hi Tina .. well thank goodness for friends and family who are happy to play with you!! I'd have to step out of the box ... as these quizzes mean nothing to me ... I need a few minions around. Then who would I want to be .. I'd make people laugh .. so Tom or Jerry - they both seem to survive rather happily.

Cheers and I hope you're resting .. mind you laughing is good exercise! K e e p H a p p eeeeeee - Hils
